KY Defender 3 Day Event
Be inspired by Braveheart Beasts’ liberty demonstrations at the coveted Kentucky Three-Day Event, held at the iconic Kentucky Horse Park. Widely regarded as one of the most prestigious and demanding competitions in the world, this elite CCI5* event represents the highest level of international eventing—often compared to the Olympics. Each year, it draws the top horse-and-rider combinations from across the globe to compete in what is known as the “equestrian triathlon.”
Amid the energy and intensity of world-class competition, the Chewy Demonstration Arena offers a unique space for inspiration and connection. Kaleigh Marie of Braveheart Beasts and her team of four Liberty horses will present captivating performances that showcasing the power of partnership and freedom on the following days and times:

Trick Training Clinic - Connection Academy
Join Connection Academy trainer Kaleigh Marie for three days devoted to teaching some of the most popular and beloved tricks to your horse. These tricks can include the Lay Down, Bow, Spanish Walk, Sit Down, Smile, Fetch, and more. Your imagination is the limit! This clinic emphasizes the training benefits of clicker training - which is strongly encouraged but not necessary to participate - and the emotional benefits of trick training horses.
Outside of being a fun activity for humans and horses alike, trick training helps us as trainers to better understand how to break down and teach behavior, practice better feel and timing, and notice how our horses' emotions play a roll in their learning.
Throughout the clinic, you’ll gain insight into how positive reinforcement can build motivation, expression, and trust—often revealing new sides of your horse that carry over into every other discipline. Expect plenty of laughter, lightbulb moments, and meaningful connection as horses and humans learn together.
Whether you’re interested in adding tricks to your training, improving communication, or deepening your relationship with your horse, this Trick Training Clinic offers a joyful, thoughtful, and empowering approach to learning that celebrates both the mind and heart of the horse.

Connection Discovery Day at The Connection Academy is an open-door invitation to step behind the scenes of connection-based training and experience how our horses are truly educated as we invest into the partnerships that we share with them.
This immersive day is open to the public and designed for auditors who want to observe real training in real time with a variety of horses. Throughout the day, you’ll watch Connection Academy trainers Brendan Wise and Kaleigh Marie work horses across a wide spectrum of disciplines and stages of development—including their personal performance horses—exactly as they would on any normal training day.
Sessions may include liberty work, bridleless riding, jumping, dressage, clicker training, trick training, and more. Rather than following a fixed timetable, the day flows organically based on what each horse genuinely needs in that moment. This creates a dynamic, ever-changing learning environment with incredible variety and authenticity.

The purchase of this farm marks the beginning of something bigger than ourselves — a place where artistic expression and competitive performance meet, and where relationship-based horsemanship is not just taught, but lived.
