Connection Discovery Day at The Connection Academy is an open-door invitation to step behind the scenes of connection-based training and experience how our horses are truly educated as we invest into the partnerships that we share with them.

This immersive day is open to the public and designed for auditors who want to observe real training in real time with a variety of horses. Throughout the day, you’ll watch Connection Academy trainers Brendan Wise and Kaleigh Marie work horses across a wide spectrum of disciplines and stages of development—including their personal performance horses—exactly as they would on any normal training day.

Sessions may include liberty work, bridleless riding, jumping, dressage, clicker training, trick training, and more. Rather than following a fixed timetable, the day flows organically based on what each horse genuinely needs in that moment. This creates a dynamic, ever-changing learning environment with incredible variety and authenticity.

Whether you’re a competitive rider, liberty enthusiast, trainer, or simply curious about a deeper way of working with horses, Connection Discovery Day offers a rare, honest look into the heart of The Connection Academy and the philosophy that drives everything we do.
